Gleiss Lutz advises Moltiply Group on the acquisition of Verivox from ProSiebenSat.1

Gleiss Lutz has advised the Italian Moltiply Group S.p.A. on the acquisition of the comparison portal Verivox from ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE. 

The sale is based on an equity value of approx. EUR 232 million for all shares in Verivox Holding GmbH.

Verivox is an online comparison portal and distributor of contracts for the electricity and gas, cell phone and internet, loans, insurance and other services markets.

Moltiply Group S.p.A. recently generated revenues of more than EUR 400 million with more than 3,000 employees in 8 countries. Listed on the Italian Stock Exchange since 2007, the company was born from the intuition of the two founders to launch the first online mortgage broker in Italy.

ProSiebenSat.1, based in Unterföhring near Munich, is a leading entertainment player in the German-speaking region.
