Ocka advises on national and international tax law with a special focus on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, including planning of tax efficient acquisition structures. Another focus of her work is assisting clients in ongoing tax proceedings and audits, including internal investigations and criminal proceedings, if necessary. In addition, she advises on the set up of tax compliance structures.
Ocka Stumm completed her studies in Dresden, Trento (Italy), and Osnabrück (LL.M. 2007). She has been a certified tax advisor since 2013. She joined Gleiss Lutz in 2014. From 2010 to 2014, she worked at an international law firm in Frankfurt.
Ocka Stumm regularly lectures at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and speaks at international tax law conferences organized by the IBA and ABA. She is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the IFA Section Rhein-Main-Neckar, where she is responsible for the WIN. In addition, she is a member of Women Lawyers in Economic and Tax Criminal Law, Women on Supervisory Boards, and the German Women Lawyers' Association.
