Johann is Co-Managing Partner of the firm. He advises on all issues relating to German and international tax law. His practice focuses on the structuring of M&A and real estate transactions as well as on the tax aspects of reorganizations and restructurings.
Johann studied in Augsburg, Geneva and New York (LL.M. 2004). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2013. He has been a certified tax advisor since 2010.
From 2005 to 2006 Johann worked as a management consultant and was on secondment with an international New York law firm from 2011 to 2012.
He is a member of the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV).
Johann speaks German and English.
