BEST RECRUITERS 2024: Gleiss Lutz wins ‘Legal Advice’ (Germany) category

Gleiss Lutz has been named the winner in the ‘Legal Advice’ (Germany) category in the BEST RECRUITERS 2024 study, outperforming seven other finalists.

The recruiting study is conducted by career Institut & Verlag GmbH and is the largest in the German-speaking world. Every year, it assesses the recruitment practices of over 1,200 of the largest employers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein based on scientific criteria. Employers receive extensive feedback on how to develop innovative recruiting measures and optimise their HR processes based on the results of the study and identified best practices.

“This recognition means a great deal to us. Inspired, dedicated talents and professionals who are committed to developing their skills and expertise are our most important asset and key to our success as a top firm,” said Dr. Johann Wagner, co-managing partner at Gleiss Lutz, on the firm’s win.

Claudia Marx, Director Office Administration and Human Resources at Gleiss Lutz, on the significance of the study results: “This feedback is very important for us to be able to understand applicants’ needs and to make sure that candidate journey and touchpoints both reflect those needs and remain on the cutting edge. That’s the only way we can meet our standards of excellence in recruitment.”

The 2024-2025 study incorporates 330 individual criteria. The main focus is on the candidate journey, which describes the key interactions a candidate has with a potential employer during the recruitment process – from the structure and content of the career website, to online job advertisements and how applications and questions from candidates are handled. BEST RECRUITERS analyses these categories to identify optimisation strategies, provide tips and suggest improvements.

Gleiss Lutz has been recognised for its commitment to employee development on a number of occasions, most recently receiving the Corporate Health Award for sustainable corporate health management and being ranked as a finalist in the ‘Human Resources’ category of the PMN Management Awards.
