Gleiss Lutz took home the Special Award for Sustainability at the Corporate Health Awards on 10 December 2024. The firm was also again awarded the “Seal of Excellence” for its outstanding corporate health management. Last year, Gleiss Lutz emerged as the winner in the Legal category.
The Corporate Health Award is Germany’s most renowned award for corporate health management. It is given to companies that are especially committed to keeping their employees healthy and that pursue a sustainable HR strategy. The award is the brainchild of EUPD Research and Handelsblatt.
“Gleiss Lutz has an impressive corporate health management programme that focuses on sustainability and well-being as essential components of its ESG strategy. By fostering a workplace culture that values diversity, inclusion, and health and offering resource-oriented health programmes, the firm makes an active contribution to the goals of the UN Global Compact. It is for this outstanding commitment that Gleiss Lutz is receiving the Special Award for Sustainability,” said Joshua Baaken, Head of Corporate Health Awards at EUPD Research.
“As a top law firm, our employees are our most valuable asset,” said Gleiss Lutz co-managing partner Dr. Johann Wagner. “So this recognition means a great deal to us, since sustainable health management is a key element of our corporate culture.”
“We offer resource-oriented, preventative and innovative health programmes based on the latest findings from medicine and neuroscience. Efficiency and sustainability are vital components of our firm’s strategy,” added Claudia Marx, Director Office Administration and Human Resources. In 2024, Gleiss Lutz’s “IN BALANCE” wellness initiative offered workshops on mental health, resilience, biohacking, flow theory and gender-specific preventative care.
