Gleiss Lutz advises insolvency administrator of Auto-Kabel Group on sale to Voltaira Group

Gleiss Lutz has provided comprehensive advice to Martin Mucha as insolvency administrator of Auto-Kabel Group throughout the restructuring and investor process, as well as on the sale to Voltaira Group, a subsidiary of FIT-Foxconn Interconnect Technology Ltd.

Voltaira Group will take over the entire Auto-Kabel Group, which has its registered office in Hausen im Wiesental (Baden-Wuerttemberg). With this strategic acquisition, the company seeks to expand its core competencies in electrification and broaden its customer base.

Auto-Kabel Group is a pioneer in e-mobility and a technology leader in automotive energy distribution and management, with a robust OEM customer base and leading innovation capabilities. The company develops and produces electrical components for automotive systems and power distribution, focusing on the transition to e-mobility solutions. The family business produces cable solutions for power distribution in cars in eleven countries on three continents, supplying them to well-known car manufacturers all over the world.

Voltaira Group is a leading supplier of sensor, connectivity and electrification solutions, specialising in wire harness technologies. From concept design to development and production, it maintains strategic partnerships with major players in the automotive and micro-mobility sectors.
