Gleiss Lutz advises ASML on its acquisition of Berliner Glas Group

Gleiss Lutz has advised Netherlands technology group ASML on its acquisition of the Berliner Glas Group. Closing of the transaction is subject to the customary regulatory clearances. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Berliner Glas Group is a leading global supplier of optical key components, assemblies and systems as well as high-quality refined technical glass. It develops and manufactures products involving optics, mechanics and electronics at five locations in Germany, Switzerland and China. With a workforce of over 1,600, Berliner Glas Group provides made-to-measure solutions of the highest quality to its customers across the medical technology, semiconductor, metrology, laser, space and display industries.
