Björn P. represents clients in international commercial and investment arbitration (in particular ICC, DIS and ICSID), cross-border disputes and complex litigation, in particular relating to distribution law, post-M&A disputes, business law and commercial law. His practice further focuses on the enforcement of arbitral awards, including investor-state arbitral awards, as well as on proceedings for the setting aside of arbitral awards. Björn is also an active arbitrator.
Björn studied at the University of Tübingen. He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2018. In 2015 and 2016, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Lauterpacht Centre of International Law, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Björn was Regional Co-Chair of the DIS40 Stuttgart from 2021 to 2023. He is a member of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), the Young Practitioners Group of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA 40), the Austrian Arbitration Association (ArbAut), Young Arbitrators Forum of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC YAF), the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV) as well as the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV).
