Gleiss Lutz advised Steinhoff Europe AG (SEAG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steinhoff International Holdings N.V. on the implementation of the group´s restructuring. Steinhoff has committed to undergo the restructuring pursuant to the terms of an English Company Voluntary Arrangement.
The operating companies in the SEAG Group operate in retail, source and manufacture furniture, household goods and general merchandise. The SEAG Group currently comprises multiple businesses and has several ten thousand employees worldwide.
Gleiss Lutz advised the subgroup on all legal matters under German law in connection with the corporate and debt restructuring.
