Gleiss Lutz has advised Körber AG on its acquisition of Wilhelm Bähren GmbH & Co. KG (Bähren Pharma-Packaging).
The transaction is still subject to the customary conditions and regulatory clearances.
Bähren Pharma-Packaging is headquartered in Mönchengladbach and offers a wide range of labels and leaflets for the pharmaceutical industry. The takeover will substantially expand Körber’s existing packaging portfolio for its pharma customers, with the acquired expertise flowing into the ecosystem offerings under the Körber brand.
Körber is an international technology group with headquarters in Hamburg. It has more than 12,000 employees working in the four business areas Digital, Pharma, Supply Chain and Technologies at over 100 locations worldwide. Körber AG is the holding company of the Körber Group.
