Gleiss Lutz advises Cisco on sale of Placetel to Gamma

Gleiss Lutz has advised the world’s leading technology provider Cisco Systems, Inc. on its sale of Placetel (formerly BroadSoft Germany) to Gamma Communications plc.

Placetel is a German market leader in cloud communications that enables organisations to purchase Cisco collaboration solutions such as Webex both digitally and through local partners.

The transaction strengthens the collaboration between Cisco and Gamma, with both companies aiming to further accelerate their growth in Europe.
