Gleiss Lutz has advised the Berylls Group on the sale of its leading automotive specialist consulting business Berylls Strategy Advisors and its marketing business Berylls Mad Media to the global consulting firm AlixPartners. Approximately 160 Berylls employees will transfer to AlixPartners, most based in Germany, with others in the UK, Switzerland, Austria, the US, South Korea and China.
As a result of this high-profile deal, AlixPartners, with 3,500 employees across 25 offices worldwide, and its new Berylls colleagues will afford automotive clients access to over 400 dedicated industry experts located in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Once the acquisition has been completed, the services of the acquired consulting businesses will be taken to market under the banner of “Berylls by AlixPartners”.
Subject to the customary regulatory clearances, the transaction is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2024. The parties have agreed not to disclose the particulars of the transaction.
Berylls Digital Ventures, Berylls Green Mobility and Berylls Equity Partners will remain with the Berylls Group.
