David has many years of experience in complex proceedings before courts and arbitral tribunals. His focus is on conflicts with shareholders (including appraisal proceedings) and directors (in particular director’s liability) as well as disputes arising from capital market transactions, company acquisitions and energy supply contracts. He sits as arbitrator and is recommended by JUVE, Handelsblatt, Best Lawyers, Chambers, Legal 500, Who's Who Legal and Global Arbitration Review.

Vita

David studied in Trier, Aix-en-Provence, Bonn (Dr. iur.) and at Boston University School of Law (LL.M.). He is admitted to the bar since 2006 and has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2014.

David is a member of the advisory board of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS) and was a member of the editorial committee for the current DIS-SchO. He is a lecturer at the University of Bonn for International Arbitration Law.

David speaks German, English and French.
