Gleiss Lutz was named Law Firm of the Year for Regulatory at the 2023 JUVE Awards ceremony held at Frankfurt’s Alte Oper on 26 October. The JUVE editorial team awards this accolade to firms that show particularly notable development in public law or regulatory advice.
“Very few firms have been able to play to their strengths so well recently. The growing demand for high-quality regulatory advice perfectly matches its portfolio,” wrote legal publisher JUVE in praise of Gleiss Lutz’s regulatory practice.
“This award is recognition of our strong regulatory practice and highlights the breadth of services we provide across the spectrum of public business law. We focus on the needs of our clients, working closely with experts across practice areas on issues such as ESG, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, real estate and IT or on transactions that feature public law components,” said Dr. Marc Ruttloff, head of the Public Law practice at Gleiss Lutz.
Prof. Michael Arnold, co-managing partner at Gleiss Lutz, said: “We are delighted to receive this award. It is an endorsement of our firm’s full service approach – an approach that enables us to deliver innovative solutions and pragmatic recommendations in specific areas of law while ensuring that the advice we provide integrates both our industry expertise and the latest trends and insights.”
“We are proud that this award also recognises our innovative approach to developing teams sustainably, which relies on the cooperation of experienced partners, professional competence and the promotion of up-and-coming talent, and has produced a highly effective advisory practice over the past few years,” added Dr. Alexander Schwarz, co-managing partner at Gleiss Lutz.
The JUVE Awards are seen as one of the most important industry awards on the German legal market. In selecting the award winners, JUVE bases its decision on surveys of clients, competitors, young legal professionals and judges. Alongside outstanding expertise, criteria include the strategic focus, client orientation and business prospects of the firm and the respective practice.
