A Gleiss Lutz team has advised Schuller & Company GmbH on the acquisition of the BoCad software division of the London Stock Exchange-listed engineering IT company AVEVA plc.
The engineering software company Schuller & Company supports companies from a wide range of industries on their way to digitalisation. The focus is on data and document management and visualisation. The company offers its customers customised engineering software and services.
BoCad 2 is a 3D software solution for the design of steel structures, cladding, glazing, concrete and timber for the architecture, engineering and construction industries. The transaction involved two locations in Germany, operations in Belgium, France and Poland, and sales units or partners in 18 other countries.
