Gleiss Lutz has advised listed Groupe SEB in connection with the structured sales process of its German subsidiary Boehringer Gastro Profi GmbH to CERTINA Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Boehringer, an indirect subsidiary of WMF Group GmbH, is a leading German distributor of professional equipment for the hospitality and hotel industry and active in the planning, installation and maintenance of professional kitchens. It offers one-stop-shop solutions including consulting, order processing, logistics, warehousing, delivery, kitchen planning, installation and maintenance, as well as customer service and after-sales. The company is based in Bonn and Weingarten, serving a highly demanding customer base comprising of premium hotels, restaurants and corporate restaurants.
CERTINA Group is a family-owned and managed industrial holding company based in Munich. Certina Group invests across all industry sectors in Europe but also in the North American and Asian markets and has a consolidated turnover of about EUR 650 million.
