In light of recent events, in the first section of this year's annual corporate law conference we will inform you about the legislative changes in capital market law. Following the revision of the Transparency Directive, this year will bring additional substantial changes for issuers due to the implementation of the Market Abuse Regulation. Our experts will not only explain what the legal situation will be in the future, but also provide specific pointers for handling the new requirements, which for the first time will apply to a great extent to regulated unofficial market issuers as well.
In the second part of the conference, in the afternoon, we will take up topical practice-relevant issues in company law and present an outlook of upcoming challenges. The CJEU's decision on the active and passive voting right of employees in foreign establishments can have a considerable impact on the composition of codetermined supervisory boards. Another highlight will be the panel discussion. Following an impromptu speech, we would like to discuss very specifically with company representatives how corporate governance structures in groups with foreign companies can be stringently implemented and efficiently established.
