René represents clients in complex litigation cases, especially in the areas of antitrust damages, capital markets disputes and product liability. His main focus is defending companies against mass litigation/class action-type lawsuits. Furthermore, René advises on commercial law matters (litigation as well as structuring of contracts).
René studied at the University of Hanover (Ph.D. 2007). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2008.
He is a member of the German Bar Association’s for Banking and Capital Market Law (DAV) and of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS).
René speaks German and English.
