Luidger studied law in Cologne, Geneva, Munich and Berkeley (LL.M. 1993). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2008. He was admitted in 1997 as Attorney-at-law (New York). For five years Luidger was a lecturer at the University of Munich. From 2003 to 2008 he worked at a law firm in Frankfurt.
