Harald advises on all aspects of German and European competition law, including antitrust, private antitrust litigation, merger control and EU state aid law. His practice also includes advice on EU law. Harald is frequently representing clients before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the EU.
Harald studied at the universities of Munich and Paris (German National Academic Foundation Scholarship). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2013. Harald has been admitted as Rechtsanwalt (lawyer) at the Bar of Munich (Germany) and is also registered as European lawyer (avocat communautaire) at the Barreau de Bruxelles (Liste E). In 2015, his doctoral thesis was awarded by the Max Planck Society with the Otto-Hahn-Medal for outstanding scientific achievements and by the Franco-German University with the dissertation price for the best Franco-German doctoral thesis.
Harald is member of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht.
He speaks German, English and French.
