Benedikt advises clients on international commercial and investment arbitration, cross-border disputes and complex litigation. A focus of his practice are international arbitrations with a connection to Asia, particularly Japan, Korea, Singapore and China. He regularly represents Asian clients in their disputes related to Germany and Europe, as well as German and European clients in arbitral proceedings relating to Asia.
Benedikt studied at the University of Bremen, Osaka University and New York University (LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration, 2018). He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2024. From 2020 to 2022, he worked at a Japanese law firm in Tokyo. He is admitted to the German bar as well as to the New York State bar (2019).
He is a member of the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV).
