Gleiss Lutz coordinates global merger control procedure for Sulzer’s acquisition of Cardo Flow Solutions

Gleiss Lutz handled the merger control aspects of Sulzer Ltd.’s takeover of Cardo Flow Solutions. The Swiss Sulzer Group is a global supplier of industrial pumps and related equipment. Wastewater pumps form the focus of the operations of Cardo Flow Solutions, which is based in Malmö, Sweden. The acquisition sees Sulzer add an attractive growth segment to its pump portfolio.

Gleiss Lutz obtained the requisite merger control clearance from the German Federal Cartel Office and coordinated and carried out merger control procedures in various other jurisdictions worldwide in cooperation with local partner law firms.
