Gleiss Lutz again named “German Law Firm of the Year”

Gleiss Lutz was named “Law Firm of the Year” at this year’s PLC Which lawyer? Awards. In a survey of 5,500 in-house counsel by PLC, Gleiss Lutz was singled out as Germany’s top law outfit. The UK legal directory reviews law firms in various specialist areas around the world and is one of the industry’s leading publications.

This latest award is a testament to the firm’s dynamic development in recent months. With its upcoming opening of a new office in Düsseldorf, Gleiss Lutz underscores its claim as a leading German player on the international market, offering top quality legal advice to high-profile clients. In May this year, lateral hire and leading M&A specialist Dr. Patrick Kaffiné will be joining the firm’s Frankfurt office from Lovells.

Gleiss Lutz had already been named “German Law Firm of the Year” at the IFLR European Awards 2008, winning two further awards in the categories “Private Equity Deal of the Year” and “Restructuring Deal of the Year”. Gleiss Lutz also picked up an award for “Law firm of the year for energy law” at the 2008 JUVE Awards.
