Gleiss Lutz advised the Japanese SBI Group on its venture capital investment via SBI Digital Asset Holding in the digital business of the Boerse Stuttgart Group.
SBI Group is thus deepening its investment in the Boerse Stuttgart Group and is now invested in the entire digital business of Boerse Stuttgart Group, which will be bundled under the brand 'Boerse Stuttgart Digital' in the future.
Boerse Stuttgart Digital offers a variety of trading and brokerage solutions as well as cryptocurrency and tokens for institutional clients. For private clients Boerse Stuttgart Digital operates the multiple award-winning retail platform BISON. Boerse Stuttgart Digital has a workforce of around 170 people and offices in Berlin, Stuttgart, Ljubljana and Zurich.
SBI Group, via its subsidiary SBI Digital Asset Holdings, has built a global network of digital asset and cryptocurrency businesses. The network consists of a combination of strategic partnerships and minority investments and is complemented by core digital asset products and services developed from within the group.
