A Gleiss Lutz team has advised ENGINIUS TEC GmbH on the acquisition of parts of the insolvency assets of the Clean Logistics Group. Clean Logistics, a young, listed manufacturer and retrofitter of environmentally friendly, zero-emissions trucks and buses, had filed for insolvency with Lüneburg Local Court on 22 February 2023. The transaction will enable a majority of jobs to be retained at three of the group's locations.
ENGINIUS TEC GmbH is a subsidiary of ENGINIUS GmbH. ENGINIUS is Europe's first vehicle manufacturer with EU type approval for electrically powered trucks with a hydrogen fuel cell system (FCEVs). The company is part of the globally active FAUN Group, a member of the KIRCHHOFF Group with a total of around 13,000 employees, annual sales of EUR 2.5 billion and 57 plants in 22 countries.
