DaimlerChrysler AG has sold its subsidiary DaimlerChrysler Aviation GmbH (DCA) to a company of the Aton Group. DCA predominantly offers private charter flight services for business travellers and currently has around 200 employees; in 2006 it generated turnover of roughly EUR 65 million. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
In the contract negotiations DaimlerChrysler was advised by Gleiss Lutz lawyers Dr. Cornelius Götze (partner, corporate/M&A; lead), Dr. Markus Deutsch (partner, aviation law) and Dr. Jennifer Müller-Steinwachs (aviation law) from the Frankfurt office.
