Gleiss Lutz has advised Auto-Kabel Management GmbH on extensive restructuring measures, and is also assisting it with related insolvency proceedings.
Given the electromobility market’s development failing to meet expectations, it became necessary to reorganise the Auto-Kabel Group – with approximately 4,000 employees worldwide – as part of insolvency proceedings. The family business, which is currently in search of an investor, produces cable solutions for power distribution in cars in eleven countries on three continents, supplying them to well-known car manufacturers around the globe.
