At this event we will be informing you of recent developments in case law and legislation as well as discussing the latest issues in legal practice. We are very pleased to be joined by Dr. Helmut Krenek, presiding judge at Munich I Regional Court, who will be giving a presentation on “management board liability and compliance”. As presiding judge of the 5th Commercial Chamber he has been involved in key compliance proceedings for many years. Joseph Tompkins, partner at Sidley Austin’s Washington office, will also be speaking on trends in compliance investigations in the US. A further highlight will be the panel discussion entitled “Hot topics in compliance investigations and crisis management”.
