Johannes regularly represents national and international clients in the in- and out-of-court enforcement of trademark and unfair competition claims as well as in other complex litigation proceedings. Furthermore, he advises on all matters of trademark and unfair competition law as well as issues in connection with IT, e-commerce and the metaverse. Another main area of his practice is the development and realization of strategies for the registration and protection of national and multinational trademark portfolios.
Johannes studied in Mannheim, Edinburgh and Würzburg. Before his admission, he completed parts of his legal traineeship in a leading international law firm in Frankfurt and in a US law firm in Miami. He has been with Gleiss Lutz since 2018.
Johannes is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR).
