Christoph studied at the universities of Regensburg and Munich. Before his career as a lawyer, he served as an active-duty paratrooper officer in various staff and command positions in the German Armed Forces from 2002 to 2013. He earned a degree in Business and Organizational Sciences from the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich.
