Christian advises on collective and individual employment law. He specialises in the conclusion and termination of service contracts with board members and managing directors as well as structuring remuneration systems, remuneration reports, and the provision of related assistance for shareholder meetings. His practice also focuses on (cross-border) reorganisations, particularly the associated co-determination issues. He also regularly advises on works constitution law, collective bargaining and industrial disputes.

Vita

Christian studied at the universities of Tuebingen (Dr. iur.), Fribourg/Switzerland and at Yale Law School/USA (LL.M.). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2011. Christian has been an Honorary Professor of the University of Mannheim since 2020.

Christian is a member of the German Bar Association’s Labour Law Working Group, of the German Bar Association's Committee for Labour Law, of the employment lawyers’ association “fachanwalt forum arbeitsrecht (ffa)” and of the American Employment Law Council (AELC). He is co-editor of the law journal “Arbeitsrecht Aktuell” and "Fachdienst Arbeitsrecht".

He speaks German and English.
